ABOUT US

 

Scots Gaelic access and promotion organisation

Clì Gàidhlig is an organisation whose aim is to support the needs of adult learners. Remember, if you are learning Gaelic Clì Gàidhlig is here for you!

 

We facilitate courses; offer membership and funding; publish a quarterly magazine; provide assistance; and deliver events and projects.

These are our aims

  • to promote the learning and national status of Gaelic

  • to disseminate information on Gaelic and Gaelic affairs

  • to act as the voice of Gaelic learners and non-native speakers

Clì Gàidhlig is led by a board, chosen by Clì members at our AGM. This is our board this year:

Aonghas MacNeacail acts as a Patron for Clì. This role involves promoting Clì and its work but also locating opportunities to promote the Gaelic language in general.

 

Clì Gàidhlig's office is situated in Inverness and there are 6 members of staff working for the organisation.
